The Fifth Week
Henbane and Glee start to demand
things of life and want to be part of the daily routine. Since they are still
very small that is a problem ... I can understand now that sometimes small
dogbreeds don't get socialized so well: it is very scary! I have put extra wood
on my balcony, because I was afraid they might drop off and Glee got her head
stuck in the children-safety-door that I installed to keep the dogs from getting
at the frontdoor. I have that thing for their safety, not to get stuck in!!! But
she came out alright and I am not giving in: I will let them have their taste
of life, I just have to watch them closely :-) I tried to show you just how
small they are, but on photo you don't see it all that well. Anyway, Henbane is
about 900 gram now (compare Fescue's litter: 1290 to 1475 gram) and Glee about
700. Funny thing, when they lie next to their mom, they seem just right. She is
a small lakey too and their relative size matches. Round about this time,
Fescue's pups were the length of her legs when they drank, and so are Ashop's
pups. Ashop is partially trimmed in these pictures and looks ragged - just as
Fescue at the same time. She will be beautiful again in a couple of
weeks.

Glee
following Ashop around.

Henbane has found out what a
ball is for.

Larousse wants to play along: sorry little guy.

Ashop under the
chair and Henbane looking BIG ....

On top of the mountain.

Henbane.

Glee - like Ashop her eyes
look terrible on photo's, while normally she has the sweetest look you can
imagine.

Glee on my mom's lap.

Tryfan, contend that everyone
is together.

Ashop, Tryfan and Rune. Rune and Larousse are almost as big as
Ashop.

Overview. Ashop with Henbane and Glee, and Rune in a bench.

First
time out. I have removed the old grass, placed new grass and put the woodchips
underneath, maybe that will help.

The wooden bar is to keep
Henbane and Glee from getting into trouble.

Saying hi to Larousse.

Henbane on the verge of stepping out onto the balcony, Glee
getting happy and starting to play in the middle of the room.
